Scott Pitts helps to coordinate the Housing Locator Network, which helps the homeless and near-homeless throughout Fairfax County locate stable, affordable housing in the community. His background includes Social Work and Property Management. Most recently, Scott was a Housing Locator for Shelter House, Inc. His experience there was matching up families needing housing with available rental units in the community. Because of his first-hand knowledge, Scott now knows the types of training and support needed for all of the Housing Locators throughout our community. April Martin Program Assistant April Martin is the Housing Locator Program Assistant of the Fairfax-Falls Church Housing Locator Network. She assists the Housing Program Coordinator, the Fairfax County Office to Prevent and End Homelessness, and area non-profits in an effort to expand the network of homeless service providers in the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Partnership. She also serves as administrative support to the network of housing locator professionals working together as a part of Fairfax County’s 10 Year Plan to Prevent End Homelessness.
April has extensive background in the field of Property Management. Her degrees in both Business Management and Marketing have aided in her success as a Leasing Consultant, Marketing Coordinator, and Sales Manager at various residential and commercial properties in the Washington, DC Metro area. April is motivated to use her knowledge and experience to facilitate the Housing Locator Network and it’s supporters in any way possible. |
